- review pattern before going fabric shopping (not easy to do but always worth it)
- buy a little more fabric rather than too little
- be sure you have all notions on hand before beginning: sewing machine needles, thread in correct color, edging if needed, zippers, interfacing etc.
- if there’s a question, google search to find an answer, instead of just guessing.
